Black Rose Paintings is a commission-based painting business created by Dani LeRose in 2013.

My Story

You can call me Dani (she/hers), and I am a 31-yr old living in San Francisco. I have always had a passion for the arts. My childhood was filled with sketch pads and coloring books. My love for painting started during my senior year of high school, when I took a painting class and looked forward to that hour every day. Painting is my favorite thing to do, my therapy, my coping mechanism. If, along the way, I can create something that you will also love and appreciate - that makes it even more fun!

I have done mostly acrylic paintings on canvas but I enjoy branching out and taking on new challenges. Some of my past projects have included tattoo design, logo design, children’s book illustration, clothing design, and chalkboard design. My goals include painting murals in buildings or homes, painting utility boxes, and designing book and album covers.

I lived in Los Angeles from 2016-2019, and was able to display my work at shows and in galleries. From there, I moved to New York City for graduate school. My artwork took a small hiatus until I graduated in May of 2022. I finally have more free time, and am looking forward to getting back into my craft.
